She had another piece on a bowl that she really liked, so… I told her yes, of course. (Never turn down a good challenge!)\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThen I had to figure out exactly how I was going to do it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFirst, I drew the whole design out on a flat piece of paper—21 inches long and 6.5 inches tall. That’s how large the design is when the bowl is basically “unwrapped” and laid out flat!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThen I started cutting the glass and putting it all together. All said and done, it took about 16 hours of work…but it came out great.
