One of the places I get my glass has some pretty fancy glass cutting machines, some are powered by water as the cutting agent! So they can make all sorts of shapes with water..really amazing and precise! So, I bought some of these cool four winged shapes and have used them on various candles, but have found that I prefer to make my own cuts. A bit of a purist I can be sometimes.so I don't use them very often. Plus they are not exactly cheap, like $4 each..
Here though, I was using this super clear epoxy mix I use on the bottom of my candles to seal in my name and logo ..so I will live forever I suppose!..and I had some extra left over, took one of the dragonfly shapes and poured the stuff over it on the bottom of a 3x3x3" vase, and boom! Dragonfly was born! Then I covered it in blue! ..and hence the name! Nice candle...it gives a great blue glow to the room at night.
